What is the outcome?
You will get to spend an interesting week in Regensburg, together with your colleagues and your tandem partner.
How do I prepare?
You choose a topic on German culture, on which to research in Regensburg, together with your tandem partner. You can find examples of topics and reports from previous years here:
We assign you a tandem partner, to help you with your research.
You contact your tandem partner via email and organize the research activity
How does the tandem week look like?
You conduct your research in Regensburg together with your tandem partner. It will be an empirical research: visit places, talk to people, hold interviews, etc. In exchange, you will be helping your tandem partner during their research week in Cluj. Of course the organizers will assist you all the way, should you need additional help with your research.
In the end, you write a report (3-4 pages) in Romanian language, to present the results of your research.
What does is cost?
Traveling to Regensburg (by university bus) and accommodation costs will be supported by the organizers.
You will only have to cover the cost of living yourself (food, travel and medical insurance, eventual visa costs for non-EU citizens, etc.)
Requirements for participation:
· Good English language skills, German language skills are an advantage, but not compulsory
· The participation at both stages of the program
· Interest in German culture

When does it take place?
Summer Semester 2020 – two stages:
- 1st stage: 9-16.03.2020: Visit and empiric research of the students from Regensburg in Cluj
- 2nd stage: 26.07-2.08.2020: Return visit and empiric research of the students from Cluj in Regensburg
